A Grand Day Out

As Swizerland has somewhat better skiing resorts compared to Finland, it would be shame not to go skiing during my stay in here. Therefore I took one day off from work, and bought a ticket to nearby resort Flumserberg. Packet offer with a train ticket and the ski pass was less than 40 euros, so that was not too expensive. At the resort, I rented the equipment as my own skiis are in Finland.

I have to tell you, the place was really nice. Between the skiing resort and the opposite mountains, there is a nice (and cold) looking lake. Looking to all directions, you can mostly see mountains. Also the weather was quite nice, light clouds were around the skies, but the sun was still visible enough to make the weather really good for skiing.

It is possible that I will go again to either the same resort or some other, but at least now I can rule out this line from my 'To Do' -list. The exact length of my stay here in Switzerland is somewhat unclear, as it is utmost important to sort things out with the Finnish tax authority before making any radical moves. At the moment, I would assume I will leave Switzerland between 15.2. and 28.2. The funny thing that at the moment it's also somewhat unclear where I will be leaving. The Chicago mentioned in the previous post is certainly one option, and also if I want to go back to Finland, that's possible. However, there's also third option available, so I have to check if it would be the best option. I think the next two weeks will show me the way.
